Introduced in 1929 by Chrysler as an all new light six, the well spec’d cars were an immediate success and De Soto (USA) built more cars during its first year (1929) than had either Chrysler or Pontiac in their first production years.
The Model K has a 6 cylinder inline L head engine, 21.6hp.,
174.9 cu.in. Standard were 4 wheel hydraulic brakes and Lovejoy shock absorbers. Wheelbase 109¾”. Tyres 475/5.00x19”.
